What's a good email service that doesn't block activation emails?

I'm trying to register for a forum, but I'm not getting the activation email. Yahoo and hotmail like to do this for some reason, and I'm NOT gonna give google my phone number so I can use one of my old gmail accounts. The whole point of using a pen name is anonymity.
