Why don't accused sexual predators have the right to anonymity?

I don't know about you, but I want to be informed when a sexual predator enters my area. I'll tell you a true story. There was a man that spent 20 years in prison because he was convicted of raping and murdering 3 children. He was released at an elderly age and placed in a halfway house. Locals were notified and they harassed the man and drove him off. So the authorities tried again and the same thing happened. So the third time they decided not to notify the police department or the locals. After 15 children had been brutally raped and murdered local authorities figured out it was him. If they had been informed they would have caught him after the first one or may have even prevented any of them from happening. Yes, our justice system has problems, but I feel it is more important to protect our children than to worry about who has and hasn't been wrongly accused. This is a true story. That is why I believe child rapists and murderers should get the death penalty. Serial Killers and pedophiles can't be rehabilitated, and you put innocent people at risk when you release them back into society. Shoot the sick bastards in the head. Believe me, science can tell the difference between a brutal rape and some trumped up charge.
